This is Kryptyk
'Are there' is exactly the kind of phrase you would use to describe the turnout for Shaastra this time.Unfortunately 'completely arbit' is the kind of phrase you would use to describe the quality of participation.Yes the site crashed, but that only supports the quantity theory.
A significant portion of the participants (some of them decolettes :) , a large number of them metrosexuals) could have only participated in events like Project XXX, Stimulation Championship, Let's Open House,Sizzle Championship and (Math) Modeling.
Except that they didn't sizzle, and that I am very glad that they didn't open.
TNR for so much EP for AP( 43 colleges i heard!!). In fact a lot of junta called me about Shaastra (OQ) from Hyd, and they sort of gave me the impression that only reason they wanted to come here was to meet their friends here in IIT and to check out the campus.
Warasht.

LOL, "Let's Open House" :D
And ah, decollete was the word I was looking for a very long time now!
IIT campus has always been the reason for most junta to show up for saarang/shaastra and of late OQ da.
nothing warasht about it.
quality participation (read babes/studs) i am guessing stopped happening when they changed mardi gras to saarang!
why so much feelings anyways?
You left out some other crowd pulling events like Video 'letch'ures Mane Quiz, Folicular Dynamics Demo, How Things Walk and the Bubik's Cube Workshop.
@ kvm
Youre the gre man!!
@bhaju
Ya that is there...you always have a large vetti crowd, especially in saarang...but it was especially high this time...i was kicked out of puzzle champ twice because there wasn't enough space..it was as if the EP department overworked and didnt inform the other departments that they have...shaastra didn't seem ready to accept so many people.
@ AJ
Youre the man!!! we should start something called Showstra
SHOWSTRA :D :D :D :D
Clearly, you have thusspaked after a while, and the result is thus there for everyone to see :P
